Biography of Imogen Cunningham

    Imogen Cunningham was born in Portland, Oregon in 1883.  Her dad, Isaac Cunningham encourage Imogen to read before school and save up money to go to an art lesson every summer.  Imogen went to University of Washington in Seattle, while she was growing up.  In order for her to learn photography, she had the scientific background to become one.  After she graduated in college, she worked at Seattle portrait studio of Edward S. Curtis' shop.  Imogen learned many techniques to do photography and painted some pictures.  She died on June 23, 1976, at the age of 93.

 I like this picture because I do the same way of taking black and white pictures, especially picture of flowers.  She

 I like this picture because the flower is so bright from the light but white makes it very interesting.  Also I like the swirl of the center of the flower.

I like this one because she drew this picture to look like she was taking that picture.  I really like this one because at first when I saw this, I was like that's just a photo, but then I figured it out while I was reading this picture, it was a drawing picture.  This is AMAZING! :)
