Michael Caroll and the adventure to Romania Kids

Biography of Michael Carroll

   Michael Carroll President of Romanian Children's Relief.  In January 1990, Carroll was one of the first photographers to travel to Romania after the fall of the communist regime. His stories, which were written and photographed for The Boston Globe and The New York Times, that led directly to the formation of the Romanian Children's Relief organization.  Media-design consultant specializing in corporate and editorial photography with clients including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Time, People, Golf & Travel, Travel & Leisure Golf, Newsweek, Business Week, Money and Fortun.  Since 1990, Carroll has traveled extensively throughout Eastern Europe writing and photographing for American and European publications.  Carroll graduated in 1968 of Notre Dame University.   

Suffering Kids in Romania

    The kids in Romania are still struggling with finding new homes.  http://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736%2805%2967646-5/fulltext .  They are suffering with not having good homes for themselves.  The Lancet said that they are trying their best to provide what the kids need and keeping them alive and healthy as possible.  The extra income that families mistaken were to take their daughter or sons back, this made it common for parents to do so.  But on the other hand, parents who tries to bring their kids back, they would end up with troubles with the authorities.  Sometimes, kids in Romania died for illness or couldn't survive their life what they needed.

Biography of Eadweard Muybridge

   Edward James Muggeridge was born on April 9, 1830 to John and Susan Muggeridge of Kingston upon Thames, England.  When Muybridge was 20, he was an immigrant from England.  He was a bookseller in New York then went to San Fransisco to start photography in 1855.  Then at that time, he changed his name as Muybridge.  He produced a wide array of panoramic landscape photographs, most famously of Yosemite Valley, and traveled to Alaska to photograph the Tlingit people.  During a break from his photographic research in the 1870s, Muybridge took several photographic expeditions in and around California. On one of these, his wife, Flora, had an affair with Major Harry Larkyns, a drama critic. Believing that Larkyns had fathered the couple's recently born son, Muybridge tracked him down, and shot and killed him. At his trial for murder in 1875, several witnesses testified that Muybridge's personality had changed after the accident.

 I like this picture of his because it's cool that he showed me how to twirl around as a ballerina.

 I like this one because like deer and that I always want to know how they move fast when something comes after them.

 I like this picture because this reminds me when I first tried thin, I landed pretty well when I just tried doing this in track.

Henri Cartier-Bresson Biography

Bio: of Henri Cartier-Bresson

    Henri Cartier-Bresson was born in France, in 1908 and died 2004.  Bresson called himself as a photojournalist.  He studied painting with Andre Lhote, the chief academician of Cubism.  Without minimizing the value of his work as reportage, it was said that Cartier-Bresson's photographs are revered by other photographers because they are amazing and beautiful. 

 I like this one because he looks like he's walking on ice with perfect balance.

 I like this one because the tree looks like a heart and it's background is just so pretty.

I like this one because it reminds me when I was little, that I used to climb a lot without shoes. 

To improve my work habits: QUESTIONS

Please improve your work habits.

1. What lessons or experiences did you “synthesize and analyze” to come up with your original idea-- what was your assignment. 
2. How did you evaluated your work, what were you looking to create for the assignment, and was this idea a good idea?  
3. And what steps did you take to create your assignment?   
4. What do you like best about your images? 
5. Did you have trouble with some part of this assignment?  
6. How could you improve your image or process? 

Answers: 

1. My experience I was taught to this to analyze is to break into small parts for careful study.  Also to synthesize is to bring together and combine in a new way.  My assignment that I took was the emotions, like jumping in the air and seeing that person in the air without blurs.  I took more pictures of the same thing so I can choose the right pictures that does not have any blur.
2. My work to evaluate was to retake the same image again until I like the pictures to share to the other people.  This was a very good ideas because I can choose the one to post and accurate.  
3. My steps were:
1. Finding a good scenes to take picture of
2. I retake again and again to find the right pictures that is accurate to post on blog.
3. Then post the accurate pictures to the blog.
4. My best of my images is the shadows around that subjects.  I like shadows that makes the picture look good and proficients.
5. Yes, I didn't understand the editing the boarder white, BUT I will do my best to do the editing correctly without the tutorial.  
6. To improve my image or process, is that when I edit my pictures, I have to make sure ALL the steps that I need to put on my pictures, like making sure that the picture will be in black and white, make a white boarder, etc.

Biography of Julia Margaret Cameron

Biography of Julia Margaret Cameron

   Julia Margaret Cameron was boron June 11, 1815 in Calcutta, British India. Her family called her as "ugly duckling", among all of her sisters.  When Cameron was 48 years old, her daughter gave her a camera and became as a photographer.  Her pictures capture beauty, she says, "I longed to arrest all the beauty that came before me and at length the longing has been satisfied."  Cameron was into fancy portraits.  That's why she was famous for.  

 I like this picture because this reminded me a story called "Little Women"  because of their beauty

 I like this picture because this reminded of my grandmother who so beautiful and has similar wedding dress and she was just, "WOW" kind of her looks.  It was stunning!

I like this picture because it just reminded me of when I was 5 years old, dress like this.  Also they're just so cute too!
